Strip collections are being added all the time -- and I even consider requests! :) ]

Imagine that, because of all the current media attention on establishing colonies on the Moon and Mars, someone asked Neil deGrasse Tyson to write a weekly comic strip.

And Tyson somehow found time between his PodCast, public speaking, Hollywood projects, writing, and his duties as director of the Hayden Planetarium to do it. (Who needs that pesky personal life, anyway?)

What you'd get is a modern version of the comic strip OUR NEW AGE!

OUR NEW AGE was syndicated weekly in newspapers in the US and abroad from September 21, 1958 to October 26, 1975. A single-panel daily version, usually just called NEW, also ran from January 1, 1962 to July 6, 1974 (3 newspapers -- the Arizona Republic, the Sheboygan Press and the Orlando Sentinel -- simultaneously ceased publishing it on that date. Though difficult to read the syndicate stamp, it appears self syndicated by Gene Fawcette at the end. The Shetboygan Press substituted ANIMALogic on the 8th with a note that "The artist of NEW has discontinued the cartoon".).

It owes its existence to the 'Beep Heard 'Round the World', a Russian artificial satellite named Sputnik. It shocked and changed the world on October 4, 1957.
